| 1 | After languishing at the Stafford Bus Centre for over 18 months, Volvo / Duple F338 VSD was sold to Scarlet Band (Blenkinsop), West Cornforth, County Durham, and is seen here soon after arrival with it's new owner, still wearing Grant Palmer colours, on 19th August 2009. The vehicle has subsequently undergone a complete rebuild including considerable reframing, a rebuilt front end and the installation of a flat floor. On the nearside can be seen where the rear exit door was removed, whilst halfway down on the offside can be seen the unusually placed luggage compartment. Photographs taken by me on a visit to the premises of Turner and Butcher, Kenninghall, Norfolk on October 31st 2009. This very rural local operator is operated as an offshoot to a local garage business and is based in an open yard behind said garage business on the Market Place in Kenninghall. The fleet of three vehicles are all immaculate Bedfords, in addition two more Bedfords remain withdrawn at the depot. School services are operated along with a once a week marketday service from Quidenham to Diss.
